I don’t have a web page yet but am looking to try to enhance listing or try yahoo search marketing. I started a Adwords with google but no impressions so far or clicks.
That would be because your page rank is not hight enough, which means you have not marketed your website enough.
If you are in any forums, include your website in your signature section.
Digg yourself
Trade links with other, larger sites
But first you need a webpage
And even then, how often do you click on random links?
I have had people from Asia, Australia and South America buy, and of course people from the US. But last week, I payed 30 dollars for search marketing, and not a single buyer (at the time I opened up search to every continent). Which continents should I disable and why? By the way they pay with all the main credit cards, so also, which continents have Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express in regularity
Thanks!
it depends on what u sell and if it is a part of the culture
Is Yahoo! Search Marketing and the Search Engine one in the same things? And what is Sponsored Search?
Kaloni
SEO & SEM, yes it is the same thing… sponsored search is, like some ads, for example, if you do some search on search engine with some keyword, the first listed search is the sponsored search because the site owner pays to get listed on the first search.

I turn on Yahoo search marketing at 3pm and off at 11pm every day to prevent untargeted clicks from europe. My question is how long does it take from the time that I turn my account on until the time it starts displaying my ads?
It should be close to instantaneous. There may be replication delays as your listings’ status is updated across Yahoo servers, but this generally amounts to no more than 5-10 minutes, often much less. On rare occasions, the delay can extend to 45-60 minutes, though.

I need to hire an agency to manage my search marketing campaigns. What are the right questions to ask potential agencies so I know I’m making the right decision? What should I look for?
Ask about their experience. A lot of companies may not be able to share specifics of their clients, but should give you a general idea of what their capabilities are. Let them know what you’re looking to achieve – ROI, ROAS, CPA and let them show you what they think would be the best strategy.
I also think it’s important that the agency has good relationships with the engines. They may be able to get things done faster and have more pull if there is already an existing relationship.
When you begin talking to agencies, let them do most of the talking. Ask questions if there’s anything you don’t understand. You don’t want an agency who is not willing to answer your questions. Also ask what services they offer – do they just do paid search or do they offer organic search optimization? Will they write copy for you? How often is reporting done – what kind of info will you find in the reports? What is the typical timeline for a campaign launch?
